Duke's Course

Perched on a hill, on the southern boundary of the Town, the Dukes Course’s parkland setting the course compliments St Andrews' famous links and is a true test for every golfer. The rolling fairways and undulating greens provides a Round full of interest and challenge. The Clubhouse both enjoy spectacular views of the Town and Bay of St Andrews towards the Firth of Tay and Carnoustie.

( Photo by Brandon Tucker )The brand-new 15th starts off the Duke's redone closing stretch.The Duke's course added or rebuilt 116 bunkers during the redesign to give a more rugged look.The par-3 12th hole on The Duke's Course features a stone wall behind and left of the green. The par-5 11th hole at The Duke's Course is guarded by a burn in front of the green. The par-4 10th hole on The Duke's Course is a tricky dogleg left. The long, par-4 seventh hole on the Duke's Course heads downhill toward the sea and town in the background. The Duke's Course's par-4 13th hole is downhill all the way and can be driven from the tee by long hitters when the wind is at their back.The par-3 16th hole on The Duke's Course heads downhill from the tee box and plays to a large green. The par-4 17th hole is framed by trees the whole way on The Duke's Course.

    Greens are a bit bumpy and the drainage needs a serious examination, but the views and layout go a long way towards compensating for this.

    Very badly kept for a course which claims to be good. Inconsistent greens and scruffy aprons
